鈥淧eople may be surprised to learn that I love to drive fast cars at the racetrack. I don鈥檛 know what drew me to it, but I鈥檝e always enjoyed cars. 鈥淢y philosophy of care is centered on treating every patient as if they鈥檙e a member of my family and getting to know them as a person, as a human being. I treat everyone like they鈥檙e my mom, dad, brother or sister. In doing so, you create an environment where people trust you.
鈥淚 want to build that trust with my patients so that they know that I wouldn’t make any recommendation for them that I wouldn’t make for myself or my family. Creating that bond of trust is essential to how I approach patient care.鈥

Getting a cancer diagnosis is a life-changing event, and it can turn a person鈥檚 life upside down 鈥 patients may be scared, or they don鈥檛 know what to expect.
鈥淗elping my patients get the treatment they need, as well as helping them get through this difficult moment 鈥 that鈥檚 the art of medicine. Seeing my patients regain a sense of health and well-being that allows them to enjoy life again is the most rewarding part of my work.鈥
