鈥淚 always knew I wanted to be a surgeon. My father was a head and neck surgeon in Argentina and then became a family physician after moving to the United States. I admired my father鈥檚 practice, and his dedication to his patients was inspiring.鈥�

He wouldn鈥檛 trade careers with anyone for even a single day.

鈥淭his is exactly what I want to be doing with my life. I love the mental stimulus of the job and the daily rewards of working with my patients.鈥�

Travel is an important part of his life.

鈥淚 enjoy seeing the sights and sampling new cuisines. Madrid has been my favorite travel destination so far. It鈥檚 the grandest city on Earth, with the best architecture. Even its post office is grand! The food is amazing, as well.鈥濃��

Future travel destinations.

鈥淰isiting Australia and going on a safari are on my bucket list. I鈥檇 also like to take a 鈥楳arch of the Living鈥� trip, which involves visiting Holocaust sites in Poland and honoring those who lost their lives there.鈥濃��

鈥淭he camaraderie of the faculty and staff is what I like the most about working at Keck Medicine. When we鈥檙e consulting about a patient, we work together to do what鈥檚 best for that person, no matter what. We respect each other as professionals and listen to each other鈥檚 ideas.鈥濃��
