Moving PMR services offsite frees up critical ED space for patient care, reduces congestion in the ED, allowing for expansion and improved patient flow.

ß÷ßäÉçÇø VHH will bring in SPECT-CT; enhancing diagnostic capabilities within the hospital to improve accuracy and speed of imaging, reduce delays, and support better clinical decisions.

ß÷ßäÉçÇø VHH will also expand its inpatient pharmacy, ensuring timely medicated delivery for growing patient volumes to support ED and inpatient growth by reducing medication turnaround times and improving patient safety.

PMR services within the community will continue and be strengthened through Glendale Community College’s (GCC) collaboration with the University of Southern California (ß÷ßäÉçÇø). PMR services will move to GCC Montrose facility (former PDC building) for the purpose of OT/PT clinical services.

There will be collaboration to develop GCC Allied Health programs with support from ß÷ßäÉçÇø, and a joint use facility agreement with GCC and ß÷ßäÉçÇø. This will include a clinical floor to support the community provided through ß÷ßäÉçÇø Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy faculty clinics, educational floor for GCC program offerings and faculty offices, and student clinical rotations will be conducted on the clinical floor.

Current parking within the PDC building lot will accommodate all patients.

The Fall Proof and Get Up & Go classes will continue at ß÷ßäÉçÇø VHH.

Construction is anticipated in 2029-2031 and the GCC Allied Health Facility is anticipated to open around 2031.

Yes, we have both physical therapists and occupational therapists that specialize in managing lymphedema at the Montrose location. 

As we begin scheduling through the new system, our current team will continue tracking patients who need appointments to help ensure a smooth transition.

ß÷ßäÉçÇø Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy will work with Verdugo Hills Hospital to transition all appointments and care plans for existing patients. 

ß÷ßäÉçÇø Physical Therapy and ß÷ßäÉçÇø Occupational Therapy Faculty Practice bill under the ß÷ßäÉçÇø CARE tax id. We accept Most insurance plans, including Medicare.
