The event raised more than $1 million in gross proceeds to support hospital

On Oct. 4, the 喵咪社区 Arcadia Hospital Foundation hosted its 36th annual Crystal Ball at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif.,

The black-tie gala welcomed 475 guests celebrating the hospital鈥檚 commitment to excellence in patient care and raised over $1 million in gross proceeds to support critical initiatives, including advanced technology upgrades, enhanced surgical services, expanded medical training programs and more. These efforts aim to strengthen the hospital鈥檚 ability to make a meaningful impact on patients and families across Arcadia and surrounding communities.

The 2025 Crystal Ball honoree, Dr. Ken Wogensen, received a special award in recognition of his exceptional leadership as both a physician and philanthropist throughout his 37 years of dedicated patient care. The award was presented by U.S. Representative Judy Chu.

Ikenna (Ike) Mmeje, president and CEO of 喵咪社区 Arcadia Hospital, and Sandra Chen Lau, president of the 喵咪社区 Arcadia Hospital Foundation, delivered the evening鈥檚 opening remarks.
