Join 喵咪社区 Arcadia Hospital for our in-person breastfeeding class to help you get ready for your baby鈥檚 arrival. We’ll explore the 鈥淯nderstanding Breastfeeding鈥� Student Handbook, which will be mailed to you after registration. A lactation specialist will teach the benefits of breastfeeding and show you how to hold your baby for a comfortable and successful feeding.

You will use a doll or a rolled-up blanket as your 鈥渂aby鈥� to practice these positions while the instructor guides you. We will also talk about how to keep up milk supply, use a breast pump, store milk safely, and prevent common problems, followed by a Q&A session. Your support person is encouraged to join us. Plus, you will get access to a mobile app so you can keep all this helpful information right at your fingertips.

Registration Instructions

To sign up, select the to view available in-person and virtual dates. Once you submit the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email. Only one registration is required per couple.

Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment. Please check your email the day before your scheduled class for updates.
